The Alkaline Earth

An ongoing graphic novel about freedom and grief.

Adolede Leveque finds herself in an unfamiliar castle, unable to speak or remember anything from before she woke up. Expected to train in the use of magic under the princess who kidnapped her and blocked out her memories, Adolede teams up with two of the other servants in the hopes that, together, they can discover where she came from, why she’s there, and how she can get back out. But her past can only make things more complicated, and there’s a big world outside of the mountains. Freedom won’t come easily.

Hush

An adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Little Mermaid”, set in 1830s Ottoman Greece.

Hush is entirely wordless, using visual storytelling and color language to tell a story that has touched audiences for over a century. It focuses heavily on the themes of taking risks and accepting consequences seen in the source material.
